Business Development Associate (3–5 Years’ Experience)

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Associate with 3–5 years of relevant experience. You’ll begin by focusing on one of our brands for 8–9 months, supporting and scaling its existing business through marketplace channels and beyond. Over time, your responsibilities will expand to include lead generation and partnership building, with a core focus on revenue growth and client impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Month 1
- Shadow & Onboard: Learn our processes, existing marketplaces, and tools.
- Revenue Generation: Identify and close new opportunities within our established marketplace channels.
- Month 2
- Lead Generation: Take ownership of outreach strategies to bring in qualified leads.
- Refine Sales Pipelines: Collaborate with the team to strengthen and streamline our sales pipeline.
- Month 3
- Partnership Building: Identify potential partnerships and collaborations to expand our network.
- Flexibility & Performance-Based Transition: Depending on performance and alignment, adjust responsibilities to focus on the most impactful revenue-driving activities.
- Ongoing (Months 4–9)
- Brand Focus: Continue deep-diving into one of our brands to drive sustained revenue growth.
- Scale & Optimize: Work on scaling strategies, improving processes, and consistently surpassing revenue targets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Month 1: Revenue Growth from marketplace channels.
- Month 2: Lead Generation metrics (quantity and quality of new leads).
- Month 3: Partnership Development (number and quality of new partnerships).
- Flexibility Note: KPIs for Months 2 and 3 may shift based on performance and discussions with leadership.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, especially for international (US/UK) client engagements
- Proven ability to meet revenue targets and handle multiple leads/channels simultaneously
- Self-driven and comfortable in a remote, flexible environment
